Joint problems, such as arthritis, can slow us all down but if you act promptly, you can help keep the spring in your pet’s step.

We can give you advice tailored to your pet such as diet, exercise and weight loss and advise you about suitable medications. These treatments and advice could help your pet stay active for longer. A vet is the only person who can diagnose osteoarthritis and prescribe medication to manage the condition.

Is your pet showing any of the clinical signs below?

  • Restlessness when trying to sleep/settle
  • Reluctance to exercise
  • Finding it difficult to get up
  • Difficulty getting up and down stairs, or in and out of the car or jumping
  • Walking or moving stiffly
  • Coat and skin changes

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above questions, please contact the centre for an osteoarthritis check up.
